Contact

Questions, tips, or concerns about something we published? Reach the Plainly Now News Desk at contact@plainlynow.com. Email is our only contact channel; we do not offer telephone support. Legal and data-controller information is in our Privacy Policy.

One thing to know before you send a tip: email is not a secure or confidential tip line, and sending us information does not create a confidential-source relationship. Please do not send sensitive information unless you understand that limitation. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your email and to unsolicited story tips, and our Terms of Service cover the rest of your use of this site.

Corrections

If you believe an article contains an error, tell us. Include the article title or link and a short description of what you think is wrong. Send correction requests to contact@plainlynow.com.

Corrections are handled by the publisher personally, not by an automated system: a person reads the email and checks the claim against the story’s research record, the underlying sources, any material you provide, and any newer reliable information — and takes appropriate corrective action when the report is substantiated, as quickly as one person reasonably can. Reports involving an immediate safety, privacy, or identification concern are prioritized. We review all correction reports, though we may not be able to send an individual reply to every general message or tip. See our Editorial Policy for more on how we handle corrections.
