Polo made a second landfall near Guaymas, Mexico, on Tuesday as forecasters warned its remnants would bring heavy rain and flash flooding to the U.S. Southwest.
Hurricane Polo weakened to Category 3 with 120 mph winds Saturday night, the National Hurricane Center said, and a Hurricane Warning covers the west coast of Baja California Sur. Polo is forecast to move across the peninsula Monday night.
